WFTDA Resourses

In September of 2007 the Green Country Roller Girls were thrilled to be accepted as members of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), the national sanctioning body created to "promote and foster the sport of women's flat track derby by facilitating the development of athletic ability, sportswomanship, and goodwill among member leagues." -WFTDA Mission Statement.

We are proud to operate under the high set of standards put in place by this organization. Before becoming a Green Country Roller Girl you will need to pass a test of skating ability, and a written test over the official WFTDA rules.

After you have passed your tests you will be able to submit your new skater name to the national registry, and will be cleared for full contact & scrimmage practices. At that time, individual skater abilities will be reviewed by team captains and the training committee. Eligibility for placement on future bout rosters will be determined by those assessments, along with compliance of attendance and dues requirements.
